Riverside Events: Franschhoek, Western Cape, South Africa; At the edge of the Franschhoek Valley, on the banks of the calm, clear water of the Berg River is a little bit of heaven, Riverside Events with it’s picnic area and function facilities. Surrounded by exquisite indigenous gardens with striking views of the Groot Drakenstein Mountains to the south and Wemmershoek Mountains to the north. Our facilities include "The Shed" within an enclosed thatch lapa that can accommodate 150 people, paved outdoor areas within a citrus orchard and under leafy trees along the river's edge, Riverside Restaurant, Marquee Tent and the Picnic Area with ablutions, play-park, rolling lawns, indigenous gardens, orchards and 800 meters of Berg River frontage.
